GOP does not want to admit that the kitty litter in classrooms is for active shooter situations when kids might be trapped in those rooms for hours.

@ZhiZhu @zadrozny my sister, who is a teacher, told me of this. Small children especially have urgent toilet needs even in an active shooter lockdown. It probably would be better to provide absorbent crystal such as used in camping Porta potties
