Republicans now warning that releasing Trump’s tax returns could mean releasing Supreme Court justices’ tax returns.

Exactly. For example, Americans deserve to know who paid off Brett Kavanaugh’s $92,000 country club balance, $200,000 in credit card debt, and $1,200,000 mortgage.

@tristansnell
Yup. I don't really see the need for a warning there.
@SeeSomethingSaySomething @tristansnell it’s their not so subtle warning to SCOTUS to try to block this
@cryssibentlage @SeeSomethingSaySomething @tristansnell I just signed up for this after getting blocked by Elon for tweeting at him what a fraud he was. He called this “harrassment”. I used twitter for a real-time source for news, following Rupar, Tristan etc, but half of my follows were for sports. I’m wondering if anyone can give me tips on how to find the major sports accts on here bc I couldn’t even find ESPN, so idk where to start.Sorry to bother-if any1 can help

@JaylenDavis unfortunately I'm not sure if there are any major sports accounts on here yet. Mastodon is still gaining traction—and will probably continue to, as long as Twitter remains in the shape that it's in—but a lot of mainstream accounts might not be here at this point.

The one thing you can do is follow hashtags as though they were specific accounts, so you can see what other users here are saying about a particular event. I realize that's probably not what you're looking for though 🙁

@csilverman you replying was good enough for me and I thank you for those words. I’ll hang in there in the hopes that democracy and real information will succeed over the cesspool he now commands over. I appreciate your reply and happy holidays to you and yours.
@JaylenDavis you too! And yeah, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Twitter, but I don't know if I'd go back even if things got better—I was getting really irritated by the increasing lack of control over what showed up in my feed and notifications. I'm more optimistic about the Mastodon approach to things, but I guess we'll see.
