Such a beautiful night at the #WhiteHouse last night. Honored to have been inviting back by #POTUS and #FLOTUS, to join so many amazing Jewish leader at the White house #Hanukkah party 🕎

From old and dear friends (pictured here are @rabbisandra and Keshet's CEO), to amazing new friends (pictured here Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker, and fellow #queer Jew Avi Heschel-Aronson, both of whom lit the #Menorah), to friends who I have known just virtually and got to meet in person (pictured Hadar Susskind from Americans for #Peace Now) --- it was awe inspiring to share in the joy of this holiday with so many amazing people.

At the same time, on our minds was the rise of antisemitism and white supremacy. Personally, it's the rise of #antisemitism, and the rise of overt #homophobia and #transphobia that was all too present on our minds. I got to share those concerns with the President personally (also pictured), to which he said: "no President has done more for the trans community than me."

The President held my hand and committed again to fighting for our #Transgender community.
Yes, I plan to hold him to it.
