Game Jam Idea: The Enigma of Amigara Fault

I did a cursory search and there doesn't seem to be a TTRPG or supplement based on The Enigma of Amigara Fault. I'm sure it's inspired a bunch of things, but having a game jam specifically about making something inspired by it would be awesome. Perhaps mixing it with another pop culture aspect

Originally appearing in the horror seinen manga written and illustrated by Junji Ito, it is a strange and disturbing story that needs to be experienced

I can't help but think of The Square Hole - Brock by Alison Burke (https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMFnYLyTa/) and mixing them together to make a character/ monster creator as a power being forcing creatures through bizarre naturally forming holes to create new ones.

@SebrinaCalkins a Junji Ito jam would be fascinating - people making games that incorporate that real world but not right feel + characters being driven by compulsions would produce some interesting results I think.

Or just a game about a person being scared to death by their cats. That works too.

@jquestionmark That's a much better idea. Just open it up to all their work! Creepy cool and disturbing mundanity is a beautiful thing. Liminal Horror is great.
