The process is:

Create new account
Set new account to reference old account
Go to old account
Start migration to new account

It will bring followers along. And there's an import/export section of Settings for bring everything else with you too.

Make sure you read the rules first as there are some differences between each of the instances I listed :) (e.g. we don't allow "promotional" accounts but sakurajima does. Lots of us follow people on the other servers though)

@shiukomaki Definitely! There's nothing really "off-limits" in terms of content (as long as it follows the moderation policies, of course), we just try to keep our server "interaction" oriented. So accounts that only post promotional stuff - links to their blog, etc - and never engage in direct conversation are asked to go elsewhere :) Lots of us are creators and share our content every day!
