Most of us want to see the cool stuff you made because making stuff and sharing it is a valuable part of community building too

This is where people can come to discover what the author is really like, what she cares about. This is where I find other people who care about the same things I care about. Maybe they'll be curious enough to buy a book. Maybe not.
