This chord is my enemy. The image shows G fretted with the first, middle and ring fingers. It feels more natural to me to use the middle, ring and little fingers. But however I do it, my fingertips miss or slip off the strings. It’s driving me crazy. What can I do but practice, practice, practice?

@MarkHodderAuthor try muting the 5th string (the A string) with the same finger that’s playing the 3rd fret of the 6th string (low E) - a lot easier to play and sounds better (some think the B on the 5th string makes the chord sound murky).
@jsgreen Yup, sounds better like that, and you've given me something NOT to correct, as my finger tends to mute the 5th anyway! Now if only my pinky would behave. Tried the 1-2-3 fingers but still prefer 2-3-4. Issues arise mainly when I move from the A chord to the G. Pinky slips and ring finger too slow to move.
@MarkHodderAuthor Are you familiar with Justinguitar.com ? It’s a great program and most lessons are free. #justinguitar there’s also a strong community of players, most are in the beginner to intermediate stages who share successes and advice - I highly recommend.
@jsgreen Yes, I visit Justinguitar.com every day. I'm also a subscriber to GuitarTricks, following the course. Excellent resources!
@MarkHodderAuthor how is GuitarTricks? I’ve been working through some Fingerstyle blues courses from David Hamburger that I bought through TrueFire - they have been excellent.
@jsgreen GuitarTricks is good. I’m subscribed to it but also reference the free JustinGuitar videos. In addition, I particularly like https://synner.com/lessons. #guitar #GuitarLessons #GuitarNoob
