@WWarped Me (towing my airstream) and several semis had a similar experience trying to crest the summit on Raton pass in New Mexico. Slow and steady upped our traction but we all flooded the giant parking lots at the top. No way we’re we Gonna get pushed down the other side. #Winter

@WWarped Nah they’re delightful. 🥰 I bought mine when I was 30 and I’ve towed it to all but 5 states. They tow like a dream. My favorite thing though is how kids react. Little boys come over and in hushed reverent tones proudly declare that “it’s a tank camper” while little girls ask me quietly reverently if it’s a “princess camper” 🤣🤣🤣 So freaking sweet.

@Pineywoozle As a child, I always thought it was spaceship in style. Such an iconic design, Wally Byam really had an eye for design and engineering. I have only been in two, but it seems like everything has function, and is well-thought-out.

@WWarped It’s amazingly well constructed to maximize the space. If you’ve ever seen the show Grimm, my Airstream is that model. It’s a 66 Globetrotter and exactly the same length as my truck so I can park anywhere. The only downside is the dead eyed zombies who always shuffle over who want to “just look inside for a minute” This isn’t me but if I ever go a tattoo I might get this one.😜 #Airstream

@Pineywoozle 😂 It's the same for any classic vehicle. Classic cars are the same, people are forever asking to look inside, take a seat, etc.. Many years ago I did have a 1954 oval split window VW Beetle, It always got someone talking.
