Just deactivated my Twitter account and I feel good, a little giddy, taller than I was a minute ago, maybe now immortal

@sannewman Bit concerned about the full deactivation route for popular accounts like yours because after 30 days your @ is freely available again to anyone who'd like to impersonate you.

Personally, I'm going to try to get suspended again so my account goes into permanent limbo.

@CrazyMyra Yeah, I thought of trying to get suspended but I just didn't have the energy
@sannewman 😂
I'm very glad you're here
@CrazyMyra Likewise!

@sannewman @CrazyMyra I got into the birdsite originally to track political stuff. It's buried back in the mists of time but Sandra, I'm pretty sure you were the first person I followed out of sheer enjoyment—airport bar stories, raccoons, and convincing propositions that would be preposterous coming from anybody else.

Looking forward to more of the same. 🙂

@dkmarsh Aw, thanks, Dave. It's great to see you here! I hope this will be a place of sheer enjoyment …
@CrazyMyra @sannewman Out of context, this sounds like the lament of the 32-year-old juvenile delinquent who’s flunked every grade at least once. 😏
@CrazyMyra @sannewman i had high hopes of being swept up in the mass ban of anyone who mentioned mastodon but they backed off on that so shrug.

@CrazyMyra @sannewman

Need any pointers on being suspended? I know a guy.

@Kickpedal @sannewman I have some experience in the art.
