had the excellent fortune of eating breakfast at Nick's Cafe this morning & sitting next to a couple metro bus drivers. got the low down on driving a bus in LA - which I think should be one of the highest paid jobs in the city because of the stress of driving a large object in LA traffic, taking fares, & dealing with all types of customers. they said there are way more 'thank you' customers than problem riders, and that after awhile driving a bus feels 2nd nature.
