I have been wanting to play #DungeonsAndDragons or other #TTRPG with my kids, but get stuck in a loop of thinking I need more information before starting.

I have 2 worries :
1) My imagination isn't oriented towards fantasy. My kids, on the other hand, love fantasy. They scoff at my realistic survival RPG idea.

2) Spells. They seem complicated and I'm also sure every one of my kids is going to be pretty much obsessed with spells.

I spend lots of time on YouTube research when I should play.
