JessieOkay what are the social norm differences between Twitter and mastodon before I use Mastodon 100% as if it were Twitter?
Like I’m seeing a lot of posts with way more reblogs than favorites, what’s up with that?
Greenvahn@Jessie favourites are just symbolic and "boosts" ( it could be an equivalent as retweet) are mainly to spread the message, share it with your contacts or help someone to reach more people. In my opinion, this place is far different from Twitter, not algorithm behind or incentive to collect favs or boosts. It's all about communication and communities sharing their interests/likes.
