Interesting notes on real mastodons:
1: They ate Christmas trees.
2: A significant fossil was found at "Truth or Consequences".
3: They weren't high up at the front with pointy heads, as they lived in forests.
4: They didn't live in snowfields.
5: Unlike in the current climate where Mastodon flourishes in a climate of blind greed (elsewhere), real Mastodons were exterminated by humans.
7: Also in ironic contrast to today, Mastodons didn't come from Germany but from the USA.
