@Comus Thanks, Comus. I suspect that Elmo is sick of managing a site where thousands of people call him a right thumper every day, and wants to hand it over to a council who the advertisers will trust. He’s been burning through the cash a bit.

No matter how much effort put into monetising users, if 90% of your income comes from advertisers a loose cannon CEO is a guaranteed loss maker. Not all publicity is good publicity. Even if he 'steps down' though...
