Ok, I'm no longer posting on Twitter, but Musk just launched another poll you all should see and vote on.
@petergleick The percentage voting yes is increasing by the minute ...
@petergleick How do you say "Yes. Definitely. Fuck off." in way that diminishes your probability of being suspended 😂
@petergleick lol I'm sure he'll abide by the results
@petergleick I wouldn't be surprised if his investors (Saudis, etc.) told him he needs to give the reins to someone else, and he's looking for ways to blame his exit on Twitter users rather than his own personality flaws.
@petergleick He would just appoint someone else equally terrible as head, and still control behind the scenes. I really do think the goal was to take down the site on behalf of the Sauds, and all the chaos and attention is just added fun for him.
@petergleick Looks like he has found a CEO that will do his job.
@petergleick If he is still the owner, will it make any real difference? It seems to me like just another sideshow in the Circus.
@petergleick Some people are tweeting that he may looking for a replacement, or perhaps has already found one, and that this poll is pure show. How long will he be allowed to drag TSLA down?

@petergleick
My two cents. I've thought about this, and I won't be voting in the EM "Should I quit as CEO of Twitter?" poll.

EM knows the result he wants (which I suspect is some cover to step down) and has the means to achieve that result.

He does gain the #birdsite usernames of those who vote for or against.

And in the end, as long as he owns Twitter, his (or his creditors') goals for the platform are likely to maintained, though the whiplash policy changes may be less frequent.

@petergleick

heh... Don't kid yourself. The results will be whatever he wants. either an affirmation of his tenure or.... If YES wins, it is because he is trying to save face because Tesla investors gave him an ultimatum, or he does not want to be in charge as it goes bankrupt.
