I am not sure this is worth talking about — a part of me feels that I should just shut up and move on 😛
I've been working on the #Swift #CoreML #StabeDiffusion app a lot over the weekend and I noticed someone releasing the same features as I did. (I won't go into who ...)
Took a closer look and they are copying my code and "releasing" new builds, no attribution or anything.
I've had this happen before in writing circles, but first time (I know of) on GitHub. Just feels weird ... 1/
@jann I had no idea that GitHub did that … I don’t feel right about reporting them — it feels like being a “narc” somehow 😛
It just bothers me sometimes how casually people take other people’s work and claim that they did it all. That’s it. But I guess I should get over that ot something? 🙂

I guess I have to think about this a bit. I keep thinking that maybe this is somebody young who’s just starting out and wants to build their resume or something … Sure, they should have done their own work but a lot of people today seem to want quick results ….
I’ve been doing this for 30+ years now and I’ve had a lot of help over the years from others. As I said initially, I probably shouldn’t have even talked about this 😛

You’ve certainly given me something to think about since I do tend to do what you said, gag myself over other people’s behaviour. So will ponder over this 🙂
