It's fascinating and disturbing watching people take the plain language of the new policy and twist it to mean "well, they're really only going after spammers..."
It is clearly not that. There are two separate sections, one specifically about content *on the tweet level* and another on suspension of accounts.
People are happily concluding the latter precludes the former and it's driving me mad.

I'm deliberately violating that with my pinned tweet.. I won't put any new tweets putting up my handle.. but as far as I'm concerned, if the muskman wants to take them down, he can be my guest, I ain't doing it for him.
It proves that musk has done one thing: started a game of wack a mole with mastodon handles.
Hell, suspending my account is fine too, it's a great way to make sure my handle isn't stolen(not that it ever will be)... maybe I'll finally never go back if they do.
