Who doxxed Elon's kid? Elon did, with his "can anyone identify this guy" video. Bellingcat geolocated it to a residential area in South Pasadena, and it's a good bet Musk has a house around there. Nobody would have known if Elon hadn't put that video up, and he's scrambling to fix his mistake. That's my theory, anyway.
@RothschildMD the entire situation is weird. He’s using this event as a pretext to ban people he doesn’t like, but there was no police report and the LAPD said his team was in contact with them, but Pasadena isn’t covered by the LAPD. So either it happened and it actually wasn’t bad enough to file a report or just never happened at all. And the connection between the flight tracker and an event a day later never held any water. Just victim mode and credulous people falling for it
@SarahOestreich south pas has its own police department, so maybe he filed something with them?
@RothschildMD yeah that I’m unsure of. But if he reported it to the South Pasadena PD, why was the LAPD was in contact with his team? I do wonder if the journalists who were suspended contacted the appropriate police department to get clarification but I haven’t heard anything like that yet from @drewharwell or @taylorlorenz 🤷🏻‍♀️
@SarahOestreich @drewharwell @taylorlorenz I just happen to know that area really well, particularly that intersection. Just looking at a map, you might not be able to tell it's South Pas and not LA proper.
@RothschildMD @drewharwell @taylorlorenz true. Which police department covers which area of LA county can be a bit confusing. Where I live by Griffith Park (RIP P-22) is the LAPD’s jurisdiction, but West Hollywood is the LASD. So maybe the LAPD put him in contact with the appropriate authorities? If something indeed happened that’s terrible, but there is zero connection to Elon Jet and it would be great to get more info about this alleged event
