@wonderofscience I always wonder if the white balance for these are set to auto white balance, or if it's set to a daylight white balance. At sunset it needs to be set to daylight and not auto or you lose how your eyes would see it. The same thing happens with cheap digital cameras.

@TomatoGrilledCheese In this case the colors have been purposely adjusted to match what human eyes would see, but with the saturation increased slightly to bring out the blues a little more. For more details check out the link in the toot.
