Please don't mistake me; I am SO glad that man has been removed from the priesthood. He's genuinely an awful and hateful man.

@jan_dembowski Without knowing the exact details, continually, without apology or any hint of remorse, openly defy any request of your bishop, then go "bishop shopping" to find one, which apparently also didn't work out and be more and more political.
The open campaigning for Trump was, I reckon, the final straw that they were able to get him on. Happens more in South America when a priest goes extremely political.
@kraft When our priest went on vacation, during Trump's term no less, we got a Trumper from Louisiana. At his MAGA homily me and my mother almost walked out.
He's not coming back said out Deacon the following week. Lots of people were flat out offended at that hateful nonsense.

The difference with Pavone is he had a huge megaphone which got him positions with Trump and, well, too big to ignore.
