Essentially, we're hardly vaccinating now, we're def in another wave, as well as covid, flu hosp admissions increasing rapidly & NHS strain still severe.

If eligible, get your covid & flu jabs & don't mix if you're sick (regardless of whether it's covid - no one wants your cold or flu either).

Thank you, Chris - it's vital to have this information. It is hugely alarming that most people seem to think it's no big deal now. When I go shopping I maybe see one or two other people in masks now. I'm #CEV, and luckily most of my family and friends are relatively sensible, but there is no leadership on this from govt or public health messaging, and no attempt to encourage mitigations. #CovidIsntOver

@ClaireCopperman @chrischirp me too - I’m just coming off 2 1/2 years of Prednisolone and Tocilizumab and I’m the only one in the supermarket wearing a mask .. the looks you get off some folk are pretty depressing at times. I wonder if it’s like the smokers who want to have others around them smoking as it eases their conscience ?

Could be. It's very depressing, though I haven't yet been challenged. I've got my facts all ready to go, so I'm a bit disappointed I haven't been able to use them in person on any anti-maskers!

@ClaireCopperman @chrischirp cheers Claire - I see you’ve got the Tor in your profile background - I’ve been up there myself . I looked after the IT systems at a plant in Bridgwater for near 20 years - mostly remotely but from time to time on site. Nice part of the world.
