There is no algorithm pushing content into people’s timelines. Instead, we together are creating the flow of posts across and around instances.

@princelysum I follow Mastodon etiquette when I thread, with only the first in a thread on a public timeline and then the rest to my followers only (anybody who sees the first post in the thread can click on it and expand to see the others. May make it harder for people to find threads.
