@spicynat666 So you will find that the official iOS Mastodon app Is decidedly inferior to other clients you can download, with DM issues being one of many reasons. Metatext, Tusky, Tooot (what I’m using) or Toot! are all generally considered superior options. For me, if I want to DM someone, I click their profile, then click their “ @ “ by their name on the banner photo and it gives me the option to either publicly tag them in a post or send them a DM.
