The ADSB enthusiast community is probably better off just sticking to airwaves.social (or fediverse in general) than to return back to Twitter considering how Elon thinks that anyone tracking airplanes are out to doxx him. He pretty much said that this community isn't welcomed during the ban.

@chaos Yeah so I'm not really interested in being challenged about a false choice an oligarch gave me. I needed access to my DMs. The appeal link was broken. I'm making Mastodon my home going forward.
@tony I definitely understand and didn't know DMs we're blocked too. It's unfortunate he's putting people who utilize it for their job in this position. No one should expect the journalists to martyr themselves and clear messaging from journos about a transition phase may help head off these questions.

@JJPeterson I have repeatedly said that I’m making Mastodon my home, that I am making Twitter announcement only and directing people here, and that I will be working on scrubbing most old content in the coming weeks. Your rude comment to me is exactly the kind of toxic trash that needs to stay isolated on Twitter.

And even if he didn't give any reason at all, it's abundantly clear that he's not supporting the oligarch so there's no need for whatever this posturing you're doing is.
