@mostaurelius Is there a way for ordinary client software to display the Alt text? I’d rather avoid boosting Toots without alt text. (I use the browser interface on a tablet, and can’t see how to do it)

@KimSJ if you hold down on the image it should display it's attributes. If there is AltText you see it there, if there isn't you typically see the image file name only

@mostaurelius Not on iOS. You just get the standard image menu.
