Think about all the data Twitter has on you. And now it’s available to a petulant man child who, because of his wealth, is above the law.

What are the implications of being able to sell every tweet, message, and location data on you?

Imagine he decides that anyone who doesn’t align with his world view should be targeted. Is there anything on your account that could be harmful to you or others if the data is weaponized?

@rottenapple yeah and the worst part of this is that, aside from deleting your account, you can't delete more than 3k of your own tweets. and even then are they really gone?

It's already been reported they will use 2FA phone numbers for marketing purposes.

@frontier the takeaway for me here is you never know who will own your data, so it’s best to treat your data as if the worst outcome is possible.
