@defparam Hi, I know it's been a while and I hope all is well. And this is a stretch. But do you have any SNES Expansion Headers left?

(I'll have to look into making/soldering my own if not)

@defparam That's actually really awesome and may mean my idea is possible. How much do the MEC2s have to be modified, and what tools will I require? And how much does it cost to get two or three (for when I inevitably fuck up the first one)?
My current plan is to attach some DB25 to IDC cable adapter I have to a breadboard, and develop a firmware from that.
@defparam I reached out to him already on Space Karen Site:

I'll see what he has to say.
That would be extremely awesome if it's no cost, tyvm. I'll be in contact in the coming days/weeks. I was on the fence on getting a Super Everdrive b/c I only want a flash cart for homebrew (FXPAK is too expensive). So I'm still working out the details of what I want to get.
@cr1901 so I just found this in my stash and I don’t mind parting ways with it
Is this roughly what you were looking at making?
@defparam Yes, this is what I had in mind pretty much exactly. I think the expansion port is grossly underutilized. Perhaps I could gauge interest for a small run if I get my homebrew loader off the ground.
It'll still be less expensive than FXPAK. And if I get a cheap homebrew-oriented flash cart w/ USB:
Your adapter will go to a good home, where I can find ways to play with it :).
@defparam I'll discuss that w/ qwertymodo and get you an address by New Year's. I'm still figuring out exactly what I want to do re: what flash cart I want.
If KrikZZ won't help me/thinks I'm being too nosy about how the Everdrive works, then I'm prob gonna go an alternate route/use the snes-exp for other purposes.
@defparam It is 10 months later. I finally reached out to qwertymodo today. I don't even know if you check this account still lol. But worth a shot.
(FWIW, I'm going to release a new project soon. I had a particularly bad hyperfocus getting it working the past 2 months. To the detriment of a lot of things. So that explains... 2 months of delay...)
@defparam Awesome, beautiful, tyvm. Do you:
1. Still have the adapter?
2. Are willing to part w/ it and connected if qwertymodo is okay w/ it?
I've reached out to qwertymodo and I will see what he thinks. I'll probably spot him a few $ to get more connectors made too, since he asked for some help.
