@mollyjongfast Somehow, as bad as it was, it was different when Trump was the sh*tshow. With Musk, it’s worse because he’s acting as though Twitter is his own back yard and we don’t have anyone else to appeal to.

@mollyjongfast When I joined Twitter in 2008 it was fantastic, but it soon became labour-intensive to deal with bad actors. Now the "Bad Actor In Chief" is Musk, the owner. I'm not going to take on that chaos and stress but consider it a positive move from Twitter The Tabloid to Mastodon The Broadsheet.

@mollyjongfast what seems like destruction to us is just a transfer of power. IMO, the intention is to make twitter the replacement for the failed truthsocial. The base is already there. Millions of sycophants. Right wing advertisers finally get their own platform to shill to the base that supports them without backlash or boycott.
All the advertisers that have left mean nothing to EM. That was the plan. It could become the most powerful right wing, neo-nazi, fascist platform to exist.
