OMG WTAF, Microsoft Outlook now allows reactions (thumbs up, hearts, etc.) to emails. Except I don't use the Outlook client. So once a day I get an automated email with all the reactions others gave to my emails. And now I have even more email.

@Riedl this has been a thing for a while (I think over a year) in the website version of Outlook. But the desktop app is an entirely different situation (no reactions). AFAIK they're still being developed by separate teams.

I've honestly "reacted" to quite a few e-mails, but have never seen anyone else do it before.

@mikeev You maybe be causing emails to be sent to people that don't use the Outlook client :(
@Riedl oh like when SMS users react to a message (it kicks off a bespoke “Mike liked your message!” message)? That’s bad :(
Luckily I only use Outlook with other Outlook users. But that’s good to know either way!
