As I adapt to working as part of a global entity I've had to try and find tools to help me manage time zones.

Here are a few things I've started using that have helped.

  • โ€‹Tabliss - A browser extension that I've configured to show the key time zones and weather.
  • ๐Ÿ”—โ€‹WorldTimeBuddy.com - website that makes it easy for me to save time zones and translate meeting times very quickly. Nice copy to clipboard feature as well.
  • โ€‹World Clock iOS App - Displays time zones in a widget for me. I chose it because it includes a day/night graphic to help keep me straight.

I'm obviously still figuring this out and would love to know if you have any tools/apps that you use to manage time zones or remote work in general.

@tsudo If you use Apple Watch and have a time zone you regularly need to keep track of, you can use the GMT watch face. Or go old school and buy a GMT analog watch.
