@admin I'd advocate for staying open, but also actively encourage people landing to take a look around and explore if the instance is the best place for them once they understand how things work here a bit better.

That's what I ended up doing, and I'm very grateful that your instance was there for me when I made the jump from twitter. I didn't leave because I disliked it, just found a smaller region-specific server more appealing.
