Remember: Twitter is Elon's company, he has the free speech and free association right to run it pretty much however he wants and to ban people for petty narcissistic reasons.

And we have the right to laugh and point at his ridiculousness and at the free-speech pretenses of his gullible fans.

@Popehat And most importantly, the right to walk away and NOT provide him with traffic, clicks, an audience, and ad dollars...

If you want to mess with the ad metrics, install the AdNauseum browser extension. Not only does it block ads, but it *clicks* them in the background.

AdNauseam - Clicking Ads So You Don't Have To

A browser extension that clicks on every blocked ad to fight advertising surveillance.

@agiorgio That would literally give Musk money. He gets paid for clicks.

@markmevans

It would make him less. The worse the metrics are for converting impressions and clicks to sales the lower the ad rates are, quite substantially. Sure, phantom clicks might work out for Twitter in the very near run but it will decrease ad values in the medium to long term.

@agiorgio @markmevans It will also show a lack of follow up business on clicks from Twitter, thus devaluing the entire platform.
