I'm assuming this is all personal score settling? He seems to see the site through a parochial US culture war lens, which means almost anything could be happening elsewhere.
Anyone know if he's just doing this to English language accounts calling him a malignant narcissist, or are non-English language leftist (or merely critical) accounts getting suspended too?

erichhugo@harikunzru As a South African who grew up in apartheid same age as Musk I might have an inkling on his way of thinking. In his formative years in South Africa (70s 80s) we lived in a warped dictatorship. We whiteboys had virtual absolute freedom within the autocracy's framework but the "others" had no freedom as they werent in our "framework" So Twitter is turning into a virtual apartheid state with freedom for those who toe the line.
