Over the holidays, I hope to migrate to a more niche instance for writers, #poetry in particular. I want a local feed that is not generic. If you are a writer on another instance, I’d be grateful to hear which one as well as how you’re experience there has been so far. Thank you. #writing

@MoSchoenfeld i am on masthead.social and it's a hodgepodge. I have stopped reading my feed some days. I really miss the organized chronological feed and nested replies on the birdsite.

@JDW Thank you for guys feedback. I’m happy with my home feed, seeing the people I follow. It is different here. I want to find a more niche instance for this reason, so I see less hodgepodge & more of my interests in my local feed.I don’t miss the algorithm driven nature of the bird site. Finding my way toward a more connected Mastodon experience.

@JDW I can’t promise I’ll remember to let you know personally but when I move, see I’ve moved instances & to where. I know writers on writing.exchange, zirk.us & mas.to so may be one of those. There may be waiting lists, but I’m willing to wait.
