In the short time I’ve been on #Mastodon, I’ve seen admins ban people who have a history on Twitter for plagiarism, sexual harassment and toxicity.

The lesson learned for me is that we shouldn’t put up with the same crap that we did on #Twitter.

I had a person who wanted to Follow me, and I was given an unasked-for alert that I might want to block him. Mastodon was correct. I feel protected, and I love that.

@PeggyJoan @hstarshot Very interesting! I’ve heard a few similar stories. Thankfully I haven’t experienced any trolls that I’m aware of!
