So what password manager are you all using these days?
@reybango 1Password has been great for our family.
@reybango I recommend @bitwarden for personal use and #1Password for corporate use. If you're lucky enough to have 1Password at work you should just use it at home too, since you get 1Password family for free as part of your corporate 1Password account.
My primary reason for recommending Bitwarden for personal use is that I prefer to use #FOS projects whenever possible. If you don't care about that, 🤷 1Password is totally fine.

@jik @reybango Heavily biased, but I think 1Password offers a better experience for developers, both work and personal.

Fingerprint access to your encrypted+synced SSH keys, Git commit signing, authenticate automatically in your CLI tools like aws/gh/npm, and that’s just the start of our developer focus 😉

We’ve got more deets on all of those: https://developer.1password.com/

@michaelabon @reybango all good stuff. I didn't consider these types of features the last time I did a head-to-head comparison of different password managers. In fact I think this is a recent focus of 1Password, so I suspect most of this stuff was added after I did that comparison. I think 1pw may be the only vendor focusing this aggressively on on this feature space. Thanks for highlighting it! (Of course, 1pw still isn't #FOSS 😉)
@jik @reybango Yes, it’s fair to say that this kind of offering is something we’ve been building towards over the last year or two. It also means I’m very excited for what we’ve got planned in 2023!
@reybango for me it's a combination of 1Password and Bitwarden..
@reybango 1password has been great for us, and even got my wife convinced to use unique passwords instead of the same weak one for everything
@reybango 1Password for private passwords and Bitwarden for business
@reybango Keepass. Works on my phone and pcs and does not need a cloud provider or subscription . I am thinking about trying KeepassXC out...
@reybango 1Password's been great. Never quite managed to convert my wife to pwd managers tho, she remains super sloppy with passwords 😥
