The situation in early evening is even more extreme. The wholesale price for the hour from 6-7 pm in Great Britain is £2,585, that's just over €3,000 per MWh (€3 per kWh).

@tinyfluffs @Sustainable2050 Poland‘s generation is still about 50% hard coal and 25% lignite, much of it locally sourced. Environmental nightmare but cheap.
