@JenMsft It is?!? OMG this is going to make my life training coworkers so much easier.

Does it include the cursor? (please tell me it does).

@Danielsand @JenMsft Is this them just pulling the Xbox Game Bar behavior into a work appropriate app? Having to reinstall the Xbox Game Bar on work PCs so people could screen record was *hilarious*.
@ocdtrekkie @JenMsft LOL. I had the same problem. I tried to explain to coworkers to use the Xbox function to record their screens for training and it took way too long to explain to them that it was just a screen recording tool.
@Danielsand @ocdtrekkie For what it's worth, PowerPoint has a screen recording function too, which can select the area of the screen. If you're trying to get them to record demos or something, I'd go with that over game bar

Yah we ended up just using that for future training. Especially because some just could not get it with the shortcut memorization or were intimidated by the power features of the game bar.

PPT worked well for them. Especially when we mentored teens b/c they all were guaranteed to have access to it on their locked- down school computers.

This makes it even easier.
Now I just need to convince IT to get us on Win 11.

@ocdtrekkie @Danielsand The game bar is designed to help with needs while you're gaming (aka the window in focus). With this new option in snipping tool you can select the area you'd like to record
