Has anybody else used one of these things? Got one on the way to me now. I *think* DC+ goes to +5v, DC- goes to GND and CH1 goes to a GPIO control pin. The other end should be the switch for my 12v line.

@britishtechguru I think you are right. I've been looking at these myself. Is there any advantage over regular relays?
@aninjadrew I don't think they consume much less power. The two advantages are that unlike mechanical relays there's nothing to wear out so they should last longer. They're also quieter since there's nothing to move and click.

@aninjadrew I ordered the solid state relay because it will be switching LEDs on and off, flashing Morse code and I figured with the amount of switching, the mechanical relay might not last many days.
