#TeacherWellbeing #calmteacher I'm running a teacher wellbeing event next week. Any great ideas about what to include?
@FranR I've been watching this post. It's a bit worrying that none of us have any ideas.
My only contribution is do 5 mins meditation using a youtube video. It means that people can do it themselves at a later date and forces everyone to stop talking right at the very start.
@Gumboot9 that's a good idea, not everyone will have the time to come in the evening.. Do you have any recommendations for a good one? My idea so far is to do a 5 minute breathing exercise/ meditation, then have everyone give themselves a hand massage followed by making a lavender bag they can take home.
@FranR I'm probably the worst person to ask because I usually spend my staff meetings thinking of what I could be doing instead 🙃
I'm also pretty unconventional, so I would probably play a game of duster hockey then talk about sport as a stress buster. Eat some food chatting and then say how lunch breaks are important distressing time and then finish with a bit of meditation 🧘‍♂️
For youtube just type beginner 5 min guided meditation and pick a voice you like.
@Gumboot9 are you my headteacher 🤣 his answer to everything is sport! My session is very much non compulsory, so I might be on my own. At least I'll smell nice!
