This year in Roskill South, a Presbyterian group started a community garden with intentions to start a community hub. They've been providing food parcels to people in need for some time now. Tonight was their Christmas event which was fantastic! I remember asking the nearby businesses for cardboard to lay underneath the garden mulch on their first volunteer day. It's come so far 💛

@AnnaliesvK On a regular basis they have a pātaka kai for people to drop off food and people to pick up food. Soon they'll have signs up for what to pick, ones the first harvest is ready

@Allisono yes it does, doesn't it? Has little pathways to access the rows and there's also a planter box off to the side for those with spinal injuries or use wheel chairs
