@freezr My six year old surprised me this week with loving #c64 #BASIC. Based on that, I'm guessing either of those would be a win.
I'm working on turning a #LibreComputer into a #tic80 for my kids to try out, so I should have more data points on the topic soon.
@Edthedev Interesting I tried to engage my son and his cousin with Pico8, only because the documentation, I setup a RPI2 as board for shared development but eventually nothing happened.
I will try again to see if both are able to get what programming means, surely both love videogames but and I tried to let them understand that without passionate people about programming and design videogames would never exist... But I didn't touch their hearts anyway... 😂
