I have just seen a post on Post from someone stating β€œDo not use Mastodon.” These kind of posts annoy me. Because someone has a bad experience we should all leave. There felt like there was something going on, some bias, some ulterior motive. I am not leaving Mastodon. I like it here. I like the people I have met here.

I'm glad you are staying. What is your experience on Post? I opened an account out of curiosity. So far I am not impressed. I'm done being "talked at" by well-known folks. I much prefer this site, where there is genuine give and take.
@Sharonbw Indeed. I’m not sure at the moment. I feel there is an algorithm that favours certain accounts there. It also feels old, like a combination of blog writings. I’m not overwhelmed. Particularly after the whole waitlist things. It’s new. We will see. πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––

Honestly, I haven't invested a lot of time there. I just find myself getting annoyed everytime I try to give it a chance. It feels too much like twitter. If I'm going to spend time on social media, I want to do it here.
