Three tips for people using #Mastodon through a computer:

1. You can stop timelines scrolling automatically by going to Preferences > Slow Mode, tick box and click "Save Changes".

2. There are loads of "hidden" keyboard shortcuts. Press shift + ? (or just ? on some keyboards) to see a complete list of them.

3. There's an optional Tweetdeck-style multicolumn interface called "advanced mode". Go to Preferences > Enable Advanced Web Interface, tick box and click "Save Changes".

@feditips to add to number 3, in advanced mode, you can pin basically anything to its own column. This works for lists, hashtags, notifications, etc.
