Media Temple just emailed me that I'm a value customer, and they're being absorbed by GoDaddy. This will be a positive experience, and my accounts with them will be migrated within 30 days. I'm assured that my costs will not change, and I'll continue to receive industry-leading service + support.
The thing is, I haven't had an account with them for nearly two years, and I left them because they couldn't get their shit together -- much as receiving this email demonstrates.
