bird in the rainTaking a break from #KaguyaHime, will probably finish it later in Japanese. It's a fun manga, although I'm not 100% pleased with the harem elements of the story, especially in the latter half. They make sense, I guess, and they're closely tied to the central sci-fi plot, but... I dunno, some of them just don't seem to have enough emotional weight.
Maybe I'll switch to Shimizu's #HimitsuTopSecret! I read some of its earlier volumes way back when it was incomplete, but I... barely remember anything about it now (aside from the main concept and Maki Tsuyoshi, the protagonist). I think I like Shimizu's sci-fi ideas more than her romantic storylines.
