This feels like a good time for lots of non trans people to loudly state the truth that trans people are good and more out and visible trans people is good for society.
@rooster there's a lot of beauty in being trans that deserves to be celebrated
@BoxFullOfLeaves yes! Beauty and positive impact on those around us. Not just in our living authentic joyful lives but in forcing society to confront and think about gender in new ways.
@rooster @BoxFullOfLeaves As someone who is probably NB, but grew up in a world where that was never an option, it warms my heart that others can live their truth. In doing so trans people not only offer new and valuable thoughts and critiques on gender in our society, but you're blazing a trail for those who have come before and after you. This is a great gift that trans people offer society, often at a high personal cost. All this to say, Thank You ♥️
@alchemistsstudio @BoxFullOfLeaves @rooster remember that now is never too late to live as the gender that speaks true to you
@unfossil @BoxFullOfLeaves @rooster That's an inspiring thought! Neither gender really resonates with me, or bo both do 🤔 I've *almost* added they/them pronouns to my bio more than a few times. It may be time for that.

@BoxFullOfLeaves @alchemistsstudio @rooster Yeah! If you want to start going by they/them and put that in your bio then do what is right for you. I know that a lot of people use online spaces to kind of check out and explore gender because of the interactions behind the screen.

I will also say I have heard some nonbinary people say neither or both at the same time. Nonbinary genders are vast! I am both a man and a very distinct gender called maverique

@unfossil @BoxFullOfLeaves @rooster Thanks for your insights and sharing your experience. You've given me more to think about. I hope you have a great rest of your week!
@BoxFullOfLeaves @rooster @alchemistsstudio you too! Enjoy your week ^-^
