As you say— ZERO valid reason for #dragqueens to be a political issue, and the certainly don’t deserve this guff.

But the bright side?
It’s essentially a flashing neon sign telling voters:
“THIS CANDIDATE HAS NO INTENTION OF DOING THE SLIGHTEST G.D. THING ABOUT ANY REAL PROBLEMS.”
Fixing #infrastructure (say) or #schools is hard.
TG-bashing is easy.
So it’s the go-to for lazy, corrupt & incompetent politicians.
