Kernic@kernic @Gargron I mean, it's not "bad" and it's by far the best looking Mastodon app on Android, but:
- can't edit posts
- can't follow hashtags
- can't see your list of mutes/blocks
- no fed timeline
- filters you create in the web UI don't work
- can't mute users for a period of time
- can't set focal point when posting images
The "officiall" app is the one new users are most likely to use, and it's just missing so much.
Bruno Flávio@kernic I agree, the mobile web UI is great and full featured. One thing that makes me go back to Tusky is the fact that the webapp doesn't seem to be able to "remember" where I was in the timeline 🤔

Hitarori 📯@Gargron That's great. However I still get the eternal spinning wheel when I want to see the accounts another account is following. This works when I'm logged in with a web browser. It doesn't work in the app.

I hope to see #Mastodon get a "True Dark" mode, not the blue-ish dark mode it has now. A truly dark mode would be similar to #Twitter's Lights Out mode. The only official Mastodon client i see with this mode is the iOS app with its "True black dark mode" and it looks amazing. Both the Android (True black mode) and Web (Mastodon Dark) iteration of it are far inferior.

kristophr@Gargron excellwnt work. Will there ever be a feature of being able to switch accounts? Currently I use the main app for everyday then use browser for alt.
oldjinx@kristophr @Gargron I think that's been there for a while, at least on the android app. Next to my profile button in the bottom row there are two arrows (up and down) if I long press my profile button I have my current account and the ability to add more, I suspect this is where you switch accounts.

Kenneth@Gargron Exciting to see new update. Thanks to all concerned. How does alt text show on the images? Perhaps I’ve misunderstood and it isn’t there yet. This is my favourite app and alt text would make it the only app that I’d need. At the moment I have to use MetaText for the alt text when I need it.
