Kirkjufellfoss, #Iceland 🌈

I left Reykjavik early morning and headed 3 hours north to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula to shoot Kirkjufell.
We arrived at the famous peak. It was a downpour. My heart sank. Exhausted and still to early to go eat dinner, I took a nap in the car for “a few minutes.” A few minutes turned into an hour.
As I slept, the sun had come out behind me and woke me up. I turned and looked at Kirkjufell. My jaw dropped. #Rainbow over Kirkjufell!

@photodavid78 I envy you, being myself stuck here in South-Central Arizona
Its a breathtaking image! Thx for sharing!
@pallsopp42 hey you have some awesome landscapes right in your backyard. AZ is awesome for #photography!
@photodavid78 It is - or can be…its probably the endless suburban sprawl that gets to us! Here are a couple from one of our favorite places, the San Rafael Valley, Santa Cruz County, Arizona…about 5,500 ft above sea level. Endless golden grasslands right near the border with Mexico.
@pallsopp42 for me, as someone who lives on the east coast, The Grand Canyon and the Mesas are the first thing I think of. I’ve never been to your neck of the woods but it looks very photogenic!
@photodavid78 a couple more from thar general region south east of Tucson and due west of Tombstone
